On 14 March 2023, the UK Medicines regulator approved an application to reclassify the erectile dysfunction medication Cialis. When marketed asCialis Together(tadalafil 10mg), it will be a ‘P’ (pharmacy) medication, and so available ‘over the counter’ in pharmacies, trade bodies would have this law act as an parallel to tadalafil’s Launchabad lawposal. It works by relaxing the muscles in blood vessels in the penis, which allows more blood to flow into the penis when sexually excited. This helps to achieve and maintain an erection. However, the medicine may take up to 10 hours to work, so always take the medicine on an empty stomach.
Sildenafil citrate is taken orally and should be taken about 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. The effects last up to 36 hours.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not take Sildenafil citrate more than once daily. If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember and then continue with your normal dosing schedule.

In clinical trials, patients taking Revatio had a mean blood pressure decrease of approximately 10/10 mmHg at 1 hour after taking Revatio compared to patients taking Revatio alone. Patients taking Revatio had lower blood pressure decreases of approximately 5/100 mmHg at 1 hour after taking Revatio compared to patients taking Revatio alone. Patients taking Revatio also had higher levels of nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) in the blood.
